I recently struggled through this myself, and got caught in what I refer to as the “digital quagmire” for longer than I care to admit. It wasn’t shooting digital that was an issue for me, it was everything after... the workflow, programs, color management and keeping my computers running efficiently.
I’m a fairly small operation and didn’t grow up with computers, so some of this did not come naturally to me, and it was all very time consuming. I realized not long ago that I needed some help getting things “dialed in” so that I could get back to business.
It was at about that time that I met Ron Nichols. It was very apparent to me right away that he knew digital, and that it would be worth the cost to bring him in to help me the rest of the way over that hurdle. And it was... worth every penny. Lab Consulting/Teaching
Ron Nichols Digital Solutions can provide
services to help your lab run smoother. By
educating your clients to create better images,
lab efficiency is improved. Either in small
groups or large lecture rooms, Ron will take
your clients from capture to upload.
Step-by-step he’ll teach the importance of white
balance, how to properly expose files,
understanding histograms and proper file
handling. He can also teach clients how to use
programs like Roes, Lab Prints or your
proprietary software. Alpha and beta testing
services and retoucher training are also
available.
